FRCH 50 | Jim Lazzari

What is FRCH 50?  Simply put, a company is only as good as its people. Which is why it’s safe to say we’re a pretty remarkable company. Our passion for our work and creativity is echoed in how we celebrate – unexpected, dramatic, but always fun! We’ve transformed our back lot into a farmyard (complete with animals), created a music festival pop-up in OTR, and hosted a karaoke happy hour in our lobby (it was for a good cause). We have employees that have met their spouses, raised their children and started a lifelong career here. Our mantra ‘See Something New’ is embedded in our culture – we don’t always get along, but we challenge each other with differing perspectives and celebrate originality.

Which is why, as we turn 50 this year, it only seems appropriate to celebrate our people. The people who have not only made their mark on FRCH, but those who have been transformed by FRCH in the process. Happy Anniversary FRCH!  Read more of this post

The Blending of Retail: RH Chicago

The retail, hospitality and restaurant industries are blending, now more than ever, and there’s no better example than the 3 Arts Club Cafe and the Restoration Hardware flagship in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. In celebration of over ten years of “Best Place to Work” recognition, everyone’s hard work and closing in on our 50-year anniversary coming in 2018, we thought it would be a great opportunity to say THANK YOU and give Monday, July 3rd as an extra day off to extend the holiday and spend some extra time with family and friends…however there was one condition, FRCH-ers had to capture their free time with photos. We asked them to share those special moments – whether it was fireworks, food, family or fun – we wanted to see how #FRCHCelebrates!  Read more of this post

Fast Food Goes Organic

Amys Drive Thru, FRCH Creative Fuel

While attending a wedding this past weekend in Santa Rosa, California, I did a double take when I drove by a drive-thru restaurant with grass growing from the roof and a water tower in the lawn. I quickly recognized the Amy’s logo – not because of my familiarity with the restaurant, but from the numerous Amy’s products (from soups to frozen pizza) I’ve consumed over the years. Pass Your Plate

FRCH | Pass Your Plate

“The most indispensable ingredient of all good home cooking: love for those you are cooking for.” – Sophia Loren

We firmly agree with Ms. Loren so for our holiday “card” this year our team decided to gather our favorite recipes from around the firm and share the stories behind the food (along with some pretty mouthwatering recipes…).

Every family has a story to tell, welcome to ours … so pass your plate and allow us to share our joy, memories and waistline with you this holiday season.  Read more of this post

Bonjour de Montréal

Montreal, IRDC, Creative Fuel

Every year the International Retail Design Conference (IRDC) selects a city that is a leading curator of retail trends. This year’s host was Montréal – a city that celebrates its history while exuding a contemporary flair, edgy style and a thriving cosmopolitan energy. Combined with a plethora of retail stores, an expansive range of dining options and diverse neighborhoods to explore, this year’s host city was the total package.  Read more of this post
