A Retail Valentine

This year cupid has found the key to my heart, in the form of a new bridal boutique from the master’s of visual communication and storytelling: Anthropologie. BHLDN (pronounced “Beholden”) launched today after much anticipation. And so far the brand appears to be everything I hoped it would be and more.

Stunning limited-edition gowns, vintage-inspired jewelry, romantic lingerie and glittering accessories are brought together to create compelling lifestyle stories that are uniquely Anthropologie.

Ever-the-editor, the BHLDN brand also serves as a consultative bridal style advisor, with an online tool designed to help you discover the kind of bride you are. Results lead you to one of four product assortments built around your ideal bridal experience.

Operating exclusively online at the moment, BHLDN plans to open it’s first boutique this August somewhere in the South and you can count on the fact that we will be waiting with bated breath to see every whimsical detail in the store environment.

Just as their parent brand, I found the website to be clean, inspiring and easy to navigate, and don’t even get me started on how well they uphold the principles of great customer service. With affordable overnight shipping and free returns, BHLDN makes their products extremely accessible to customers. Not to mention, each gown has been designed according to standard fit guides with the thought of simple alterations in mind.

I’m clearly head over heels for this brand already, but what do you think of Anthro’s new love child?
