We Know How To (Holiday) Party

Last Friday the rockstars of the FRCH Activities Committee transformed our office into a Holiday spectacle complete with an enormous cascading chandelier hung in the center of our atrium – it was off the chain (pun intended)! The decor was born from a simple concept made from recycled paper and created a jaw-dropping effect through scale and mass.

A true family event, the party included a visit from Santa, carolers from the nearby SCPA (High School for the Creative and Performing Arts) and last but not least, no FRCH party would be complete without a contest (or two).

Our annual cookie contest was a hit again this year. Each mouth-watering entry was judged based on taste, creativity and presentation and our winner was Creative Fuel’s own Toby Harris for his home-made and grown-up twist on everyone’s favorite cookie: the Oreo.

To keep things interesting, we added an Ugly Holiday Sweater competition into the mix this year. Here are some of the highlights (or is that low points?) of the competition. Our clear winner, by audience vote, was Bonnie Graf, whose Christmas-tree inspired sweater actually lit up.

It was great fun for all of us, and a reminder of why FRCH is a wonderful place to work… and play!
