Jim Fitzgerald Sr. is Recognized with 2010 Hammer Award

It is with great honor and appreciation that FRCH congratulates Jim Fitzgerald, the 2010 Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati Hammer Award recipient.

On November 12, 2010 local chapters of the AIA, IIDA, ASID, SEGD, ASLA and media sponsor, Cincinnati Magazine, join together in recognizing design excellence in the local community at the 14th annual Cincinnati Design Awards.

The pinnacle of the awards ceremony was the 2010 Hammer Award which is awarded to one individual for their position of prominence in the field of design.  This year’s recipient was Jim Fitzgerald, FRCH Design Worldwide Chairman. Jim was honored for his role as both architect and arts patron.

In 1968 Jim Fitzgerald founded a small interior design and architecture practice serving the Greater Cincinnati market. The firm grew to become FRCH Design Worldwide, a 300-person multi-disciplinary design and architecture firm specializing in retail, entertainment, corporate, financial and hospitality projects throughout the U.S. and around the world.

Congratualtions Jim!

Congratulations on this prestigious honor! I’m not sure if you were recognized with a trophy or a plaque of some nature… but I’m sure whatever it was will look stellar next to your very own golden bobble-head trophy. You rock!
