What you see above you is a video of Oobleck reacting to the vibration from a subwoofer.

Oobleck is a non-newtonian (doesn’t follow’s Newton principles) fluid, made of cornstarch and water.  It gets more viscous as a force is applied.  It hardens on hard impact and softens as the amount of force decreases. so, its sort of an in-between of liquid and solid.

Most people became familiar with the materials from the Dr. Suess book Bartholomew and the Oobleck.  You can make it at home.  Seriously.
