In London and Paris, a multitude of Museums and Galleries house some of the most influential and amazing art in the world– but I’ve found, in both cities, the street art has an awe-inspiring and raw quality that is even more magnetic. For me, these pieces and the creativity they inspire span a gap between graffiti, street art and installation art and allow the streetscape to act as gallery.

Using Chuck Taylor All Star footwear (648 pairs!), Converse created a 40 foot long American flag in their new store at 560 Broadway in New York. Not quite a showstopper because of the interior corner location, it’s still a clever and effective way to grab your attention because of the sheer quantity of shoes.

Some very unique and amazing props found in theme parks and themed environments are often made from ordinary and easy to find objects. The skeleton pirates in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride were not sculpted at Disney, but purchased from an anatomical company and dressed as pirates.
