Merry & Bright Colors for the Holidays

This year we have seen a lot of hot pink and lovely fluorescent colors popping up in fashion, and I have to admit that I have thoroughly enjoyed it. With the holidays just around the corner, it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In fact, it seems that hot pink has replaced some of the traditional holly red… Read more of this post

Meet FRCH: An Interview With Jim Lazzari

Jim Lazzari, FRCH’s Chief Architectural Officer and Partner ( and self-proclaimed Chief Shorts Officer) has been here at FRCH for a while. In fact, 27 1/2 years. This past week, I had a chance to sit down with him and ask a few questions about the design industry, FRCH, and his personal life. Here is just a glimpse at Mr. Jim Lazzari…

Remembering 9.11.2001

This is the picture I associate with 9/11.  I took it on the evening of 9/9 on the Pacific Princess going out of New York Harbor to Bermuda.  I remember watching CNN in my cabin when the planes hit as the boat went into Bermuda.  Everyone on the boat gathered to watch CNN together.  People were frantically trying to contact family in New York.  It was very surreal to be in a location so tropical and beautiful while seeing such destruction.

‘Made You Look’… street art delights

In London and Paris, a multitude of Museums and Galleries house some of the most influential and amazing art in the world– but I’ve found, in both cities, the street art has an awe-inspiring and raw quality that is even more magnetic. For me, these pieces and the creativity they inspire span a gap between graffiti, street art and installation art and allow the streetscape to act as gallery.
